Enhancing patient mobility at hospitals and medical centres across the country
26 August 2016
Knight Imaging’s range of specialist patient chairs are now being used in medical departments across the country. Indeed, recent sales have seen the popular Autotilt Sigma and the new Cardiff Chair acquired by Trusts in Scotland, the East Midlands and along the South Coast.
Two Sigma 135 chairs have been delivered to the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for use at Bassetlaw Hospital in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. In Hampshire, Southampton General Hospital received another, and a little further along the coast, Eastbourne District General Hospital acquired a Sigma for use in their Mammography department.
In Scotland, a Cardiff Chair has recently been ordered by the South East Scotland Breast Screening Centre in Edinburgh. Whilst over in Glasgow another of these purpose built mammography chairs is already in use at the West Scotland Breast Screening centre.
Further sales of the Cardiff Chair are eagerly anticipated as more Trusts see the benefit of this versatile, space saving innovation which allows pre-induction, transport, treatment, stereotactic procedures, and recovery to be performed all on the same unit. All of which contribute to improving case turn-around times and streamlining patient care.
