Lead X-Ray Protective Aprons
The double-sided lead aprons are available in a variety of sizes and colors. Our aprons are fitted with generous shoulder pads for extra comfort.
We stock many different options:
- Single Shoulder Clip is the popular option, with a one-piece Velcro Belt.
- Available in Petite, Small, Medium and Large and in a variety of lengths.
- The convenient twin shoulder clip option is ideal for operating theatres.
The double-sided lead aprons are available in the two following options.
Lightweight Lead - standard lead vinyl
- Guaranteed protection against most forms of ionising radiation
Edge Bilayer - lead-free and low weight
- Latest formulation with advantages of weight and disposability.
Latest lightweight formulation with advantages of disposability.
NOTE: Both materials have very similar attenuation at both high and
low kVs (100 kVp - 0.25 mm 90%, 0.35 mm 94%, 0.50 mm 97%).
